Welcome to the new Albany Regional Pediatric and Adult Sleep Center. The center provides comprehensive testing and therapy management to help diagnose and treat a wide variety of sleep disorders in both children and adults. These sleep disorders include Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Snoring, Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome, Periodic Limb Movements, Insomnia, REM Behavior Disorder, and Narcolepsy.

Testing services include Polysomnography, Multiple Sleep Latency Testing, CPAP Titration, and Maintenance of Wakefulness Testing to help diagnose sleep disorders and assess treatment effectiveness. Testing is conducted by our experienced staff of Respiratory Therapists and Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.

In addition, the staff at Albany Regional Pediatric and Adult Sleep Center understand the challenges faced by patients utilizing CPAP and Bi-PAP therapy to treat Sleep Apnea. Our experienced Respiratory Therapists offer assistance in the form of education, CPAP desensitization, and the procurement of CPAP and BiPAP equipment and supplies. Our Respiratory team has over 30years of combined experience in sleep and home respiratory therapy.

Our providers are Medical Director, Siobhan Kuhar, MD, PhD, FACS, DABSM; Associate Medical Directors, Lawrence Kaufman, MD, FACS, Gavin Setzen, MD, FACS and pediatric Otolaryngologist, John Gavin, MD, FAAP, FACS. The Albany Regional Pediatric and Adult Sleep Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

As of 7/1/16 Albany Regional Pediatric and Adult Sleep Center at AENT has stopped distributing CPAP Supplies. If you were set up with your APAP/BIPAP unit or were receiving supplies through our sleep lab please call ARP&ASC at 518-701-2095, and we will gladly help you find a new home care company.
Please note the providers at AENT will still continue to manage patients with sleep apnea, and the sleep center is available to all AENT patients for trouble shooting equipment, mask fitting or any sleep related issues.
