Most CT exams last 5 to 10 minutes. You will have time to ask the technologist questions prior to your exam. Once the images have been obtained, they will be sent electronically to the radiologist, who will interpret the exam and generate a report for your doctor. You should follow up with your healthcare provider as directed to receive the results of your CT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If there is a possibility you may be pregnant, please call the office at <\/em>(518) 701-2085<\/em><\/a> as your exam may need to be rescheduled.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Prepare for Your CT scan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Please remove all jewelry from the neck up prior to your CT appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your provider has ordered lab work, please complete this as soon as possible<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are having IV Contrast<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

(i.e., your appointment is written as \u201cwith contrast\u201d or \u201cwith and without contrast\u201d)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
