Hearing loss is a touchy subject. No one wants to be told they need to seek help. But when your loved one\u2019s hearing loss<\/a> begins to affect those around them, something needs to be done.<\/p>\n\n\n How you choose to bring up the topic of untreated hearing loss<\/a> with someone you love is important. While it may seem easier to bring it up casually in the moment, this can downplay the seriousness of the conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Instead, try to plan out the time and place of where to have the conversation. You can invite them over for lunch or go out for coffee, making sure to let them know there is something you want to talk to them about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n While you are selecting the place, somewhere quiet is best. Since they have not sought treatment for their hearing loss, background noises can make it hard for them to hear the important conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n When you are talking to them, make sure you are coming from a place of love.
