Dr. Lawrence Kaufman received his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Rochester in New York, where he graduated with honors. After gaining early acceptance to medical school, Dr. Kaufman continued his education in Rochester at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He then went on to complete a five-year residency training program at Albany Medical Center in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. During his training, Dr. Kaufman performed all aspects of surgery involving the head and neck on both pediatric and adult patients. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. Dr. Kaufman is Chief of Otolaryngology at Albany Memorial Hospital.
