Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region is dedicated to providing a home away from home for families with children receiving medical treatment. Their programs such as Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room, and Ronald McDonald Family Retreat Center help those facing health challenges stay connected to one another and the care they need.

Each year, Albany ENT & Allergy demonstrates unwavering support for families at RMHC by Adopting a Room. Through this initiative, Albany ENT contributes to covering the costs for housekeeping and maintenance, ensuring that guest rooms remain a comforting refuge for families. AENT’s dedication to supporting the RMHC reflects a genuine commitment to providing a home away from home for over 300 families each year, embodying the essence of compassion and community care.

St. Catherine’s Center for Children

St. Catherine’s Center for Children is committed to providing comprehensive care for children and families, offering community-based programs, and supporting homeless services. Their philosophy of ‘unconditional community’ ensures that no one is left out because of where they live, their conditions, or their current and ongoing situations.

For the last several years, Albany ENT has supported St. Catherine’s Center for Children during the holiday season through their Adopt-a-Family program. This initiative aims to provide gifts for children aged 3-17 in need within our community. Wishes range from gift cards, bedding, clothes, toys and games, and more.

The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York

The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York plays a vital role in addressing food insecurity across the region and provides essential sustenance to individuals and families in need. The Regional Food Bank feeds over 350,000 people per month. They also distribute food to almost 900 charities in the northeast and feed residents of 23 counties around the region.

Albany ENT collaborates with the Regional Food Bank and recognizes the urgency of addressing food insecurity in our community. Each year, AENT contributes to supporting the mission of providing accessible food and other items in need. In the past, Albany ENT has organized friendly competitions among departments which ignites a spirit of teamwork and engagement while also collecting essential goods for donation.

The Jewish Community Center (JCC)

The Jewish Community Center offers a diverse range of programs and services that are aimed at fostering personal growth, well-being, and connections in the Capital Region. From Early childhood education to Afterschool and Summer Youth programs as well as cultural and community initiatives, the JCC provides a vibrant hub where individuals of all ages and backgrounds can come together to learn and grow.

Albany ENT proudly supports the Pillars of the Community Awards, an event organized by the JCC. The event serves to recognize and celebrate the commitment of individuals who have served as role models and community leaders in the Capital Region. Additionally, AENT serves as an annual sponsor of the Dunkin Run, organized by the JCC. Through this partnership, AENT provides support to various programs. The Dunkin Run not only promotes health and fitness, but also serves as a platform for community engagement and support.

Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless

Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless (IPH) is a beacon of hope and support for the houseless and low-income communities in the Capital Region. Through their shelter program, social services, and medical programs, IPH offers essential services that promote self-sufficiency, empowerment, and stability for those in need.

Albany ENT is honored to collaborate with IPH in their mission to provide crucial support to vulnerable populations in our community. AENT supports their initiatives such as Love Kits, which are gift bags filled with essential items such as warm hats, gloves, and snacks. Additionally, AENT employees have generously donated items such as coats and shoes to support IPH’s efforts.

Mohawk Hudson Humane Society

The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society serves as a compassionate advocate for animals in the Capital Region, offering rescue, shelter, and adoption services. The organization is committed to rescuing, sheltering and defending animals while helping them find their forever homes

Albany ENT supports the MHHS’s mission to protect and care for animals in need. AENT organized a drive to collect essential items for the animal shelter and spent time sorting over 40 bags of recycling as part of their Empties for Animals Program.

Grassroot Givers

Grassroot Givers bridges the gap for residents of the Capital Region who lack essentials such as housewares, clothing, personal care items, books and more. By working with local non-profits, Grassroot Givers ensures that 100% of the usable gifts they receive go directly to families in need. Albany ENT proudly demonstrated their support by dedicating time and effort to sort through 1,200 book donations, ensuring that children, teens, and adults have access to stories and knowledge.

Capital City Rescue Mission

Capital City Rescue Mission works with donors to provide men and women free meals, shelter, clothing, medical services and educational resources. In addition, they offer recovery programs for men, women and children in search of a fresh start. Albany ENT proudly took part in the mission’s backpack giveaway event by organizing an internal school supplies drive. Thanks to the generous contributions of the AENT team, three bags and two large boxes of supplies were donated to support students in need, helping to make a positive impact on their education and giving them a brighter start to the school year.

Toys for Tots

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys, to distribute to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas. This mission provides a tangible sign of hope to these children. AENT proudly participated in this event by becoming a drop-off location, encouraging both staff and patients to donate toys and spread joy to children in need during the holiday season.s in need. Operation Adopt a Soldier

Operation Adopt a Soldier works to provide support to U.S. Soldiers stationed worldwide through the assistance of Capital Region volunteers. Since starting the organization in 2003, their list has grown to include thousands of soldiers, and tens of thousands of care packages overseas. Albany ENT partnered with OAS to help package over 500 boxes filled with personal care items, non-perishables, notebooks and personal letters. Albany ENT also hosted a card making event where staff wrote heartfelt messages to U.S. Soldiers stationed all over the world in an attempt to brighten their day. AENT team, three bags and two large boxes of supplies were donated to support students in need, helping to make a positive impact on their education and giving them a brighter start to the school year.

Trinity Alliance

Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region is dedicated to supporting families, adults and children by providing services that improve the community. Their efforts focus on enhancing health and well-being, as well as promoting education and employment as tools for self-development. Albany ENT showed their heartfelt support by organizing a canned food drive, inviting both staff and patients to come together and make a meaningful contribution to those in need.
