Rianna Passino, Au.D., CCC-A, earned her Bachelor of Science from Elmira College and her Master of Science and Doctor of Audiology from Gallaudet University. She completed her externship at the University of North Carolina Greensboro Speech and Hearing Center, where she gained specialized experience in cochlear and middle ear implants and diagnostic audiology. Her specialties include cochlear implants, pediatrics, and auditory processing disorders. Dr. Passino holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and American Board of Audiology Certification.
Dr. Passino’s interest in audiology began at a young age, inspired by two of her closest friends who were Deaf. Their influence led her to learn American Sign Language and sparked an interest in cochlear implant technology. Today, she combines her passion for science and medicine with helping patients communicate more effectively through spoken or signed language. A Scotia-Glenville High School graduate, Dr. Passino is especially passionate about giving back to the community where she grew up and providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Outside of work, Dr. Passino enjoys spending time at the beach or lake, watching true crime documentaries, serving as a New York State cheerleading judge, and spending time with her cat, Stormi, family, and friends.
