Our ENT Urgent Care walk-in clinic, located at our Everett Road address, is dedicated to meeting the ENT needs of patients requiring immediate care. Capital Region residents and beyond can now simply walk in and receive treatments for ear, nose and throat issues without the need to schedule an appointment. You do not need to be a patient of Albany ENT to receive care at our ENT Urgent Care Center.

When Should You Come See Us at Our ENT Urgent Care?

A few signs to see our ENT Urgent Care include:

  • Ear pain or infection
  • Hearing loss
  • Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
  • Dizziness or balance issues
  • Sinus headache or pressure
  • Sore throat or hoarseness
  • Nasal congestion
  • Object stuck in the ear or nose
  • Frequent or long-lasting nosebleeds
  • Breathing trouble
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Nasal fracture
  • Allergy symptoms

What Treatments Do We Offer?

Our clinical specialists can assess your symptoms, examine you and provide treatment for a variety of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Common ENT problems that can be treated include:

  • Sudden hearing loss: We may conduct a hearing test and provide treatment recommendations based on the results.
  • Peritonsillar abscess: We prescribe antibiotics and potential abscess drainage.
  • Nosebleed: We provide nasal packing, cauterization, medications and foreign object removal to stop persistent nosebleeds.
  • Isolated nasal fracture: We provide an evaluation to determine potential additional testing or treatment options. 
  • Allergic reaction: We provide treatment for non-life-threatening allergic reactions. Following treatment, we can provide allergy counseling.
  • Acute sinus infection with pain: We provide or recommend medications including nasal sprays, corticosteroids, decongestants, allergy medicines and pain relievers.
  • Trouble swallowing and breathing: We help diagnose and treat the underlying cause of swallowing and breathing disorders.
  • Ear draining with fluid or severe infection: We prescribe medications including ear drops, oral antibiotics, etc.

Please Note:

We do not see patients for facial trauma or lacerations.

We do not test for the Flu, RSV or COVID-19, for questions concerning testing please contact your primary care provider.
