Capital Region’s Preeminent Private Otolaryngology Practice Adds 9th Specialist, Further Increasing Patient Access to Superior Care
Albany, NY – (October 12, 2023) – Albany ENT and Allergy Services (AENT), the Capital Region’s premier private otolaryngology practice, continues its unwavering commitment to delivering the finest ear, nose, throat, and allergy care to as many patients as possible. Today AENT proudly announced the addition of Dr. Richard Hughes, Jr., MD, to its esteemed team of physicians. Dr. Hughes, who brings over forty years of expertise to the practice, will begin seeing adult and pediatric patients in both AENT’s Everett Rd and Clifton Park locations.
Dr. Hughes earned his BA in biology from St. Michael’s College, and his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. He completed his internship at the Long Island Jewish-Queens Hospital Center and his residency at Albany Medical College. Prior to joining the AENT team, Dr. Hughes practiced in Queensbury for nearly 30 years. Following that, he provided exceptional care as a member of the ENT department at Glens Falls Hospital.
